Letters and Testimonials
Hi Bob, just a little update to let you know Irv's doing great with his treatments. We're in the third week and he's having no side effects whatsoever, so far so good. We're meeting so many wonderfully nice people and I am just having a ball "meeting and greeting" them all!!! I don't like the "goodbyes" though to those who leave - it's of course a happy time but also sad to see them go. Hope you and your wife are doing fine. And, hope to see you before we leave. We should be here the entire month of Sept. Best regards, Evelyn and Irv, - Waverly, VA

Hi Bob, thanks for the Newsletter. I look forward to keeping up with all of the happenings at UFPTI and the treatment of various cancers using Proton Radiation. It holds such promise for many other options for patients that have perhaps few options at the time.
Oh, wonder if the Floridabob’s would be interested in a sharp logo that we could have on Shirts, added to small information cards, etc. I think each of us should be prepared to leave valuable information in the hands of the gentlemen we share our “stories” with, so they will not have to hunt down proton beam as an intervention to the alleged “gold standard” of surgery.
Take care. –Steve C. , - Micanopy, FL
(Editors note, what are the membership’s feelings on the topic of a logo for shirts and informational cards??? Send a response and any input to me at: bobfurlong@floridabob.org or refurlong@bellsouth.net)
